If you have been following my Blog (or me), you know I have been supporting and volunteering with the James House for a while. Today is a big day for this amazing organization as it is Denim Day!

I’m sure you are wondering what is the James House. “From their website: “James House is committed to spreading awareness about sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking and its impact on not just the people who have experienced it, but our community as a whole.” I’m honored to empower them do more of their good work.

And, what is Denim Day? Denim Day is a day where millions of people around the world wear denim to support survivors and educate others about sexual violence. I’m new to Denim Day and am thankful to understand the importance.

Will you jump on board with me to help others understand the importance of Denim Day and the James House? Here are a few ideas:

  • Spread the message. Share this image on social media, while tagging the James House. Share the James House website to increase awareness.
  • Make even a small donation at www.thejameshouse.org/donate
  • Share this Blog post!
  • Photos lovers can help by sharing a photo of you wearing denim on the James House Facebook Page.
  • Check out the Cover Something in Denim Competition on the Facebook Group (event). I wonder if you can guess which is my denim covered item?!

Together, let’s take a stand for the victims! Thanks you!
